Sip, surprise, socialise, turning gift wrapping into a shopping delight.

The magic moment
Westfield Knox wanted more than a gift-wrapping counter, they wanted an experience shoppers would remember. Enter Sip & Surprise: a bold scarlett and pink installation that didn’t just look beautiful, it served up free drinks with a side of theatre.
Here’s how it worked: shoppers touched the installation, and like magic, a hidden panel opened to offer them a complimentary drink. No lines, no staff shuffle, just a clever, seamless interaction that kept people talking (and sipping).

From brief to build (and beyond)
We owned this project from the first conversation to the final pack-down, every creative spark, every logistical headache, every “how on earth are we going to pull this off?” moment was ours to solve.
- Concept & 3D CAD design
Before a single screw was turned, we mapped the entire installation in detail. The client could see exactly how the structure would look, function, and fit within the Westfield space, right down to the shades of red and the regal velvet curtains. No guesswork, no surprises, except the ones we planned. - Pre-build in our workshop
We assembled the entire installation in-house before it ever left our floor. This meant perfect alignments, smooth joins, and a test run of the interactive “surprise” mechanism so it worked flawlessly on the day. - Full fabrication
From the steel skeleton to the final finishes, we handled every element. The striking red-and-pink palette was applied with precision, and the structure was built tough enough to handle high foot traffic without losing the element of surprise. - Transport to and from site
We planned and executed the logistics so every panel, fixture, and prop arrived on-site exactly as intended, damage-free, on time, and ready to be assembled without a hitch.
Smooth in, smooth out
We handled bump-in with precision, bump-out without fuss, and full disposal of temporary elements. Every logistical detail was managed so Westfield’s team could focus on the customer experience.
